REMEDIAL MASSAGE
Remedial massage focuses on parts of the body that requires rehabilitation. Remedial massage first starts with a review of the muscles, ligaments, tendons and posture. Once the therapist understands the issues causing the injury or pain they will then perform a targeted massage of the area.
RELAXATION MASSAGE
Relaxation massage provides a general loosen up, encourages blood flow throughout the body, and helps boost the immune system by stimulating the lymphatics. A relaxation massage treatment will usually involve flowing strokes and kneading, performed at your chosen pressure.
It’s a pain free therapy and an effective way to de-stress and relax the mind and body.
DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE
Deep tissue massage offers both physical and psychological benefits. Unlike other massage techniques that focus on relaxation, deep tissue massage helps to treat muscle pain and improve stiffness. But it can still help to you unwind mentally, too.
MYOFASCIAL RELEASE
A type of gentle, constant massage that releases tightness and pain throughout the connective tissues between your muscles and joints, by locating trigger points, or knots, in the fascial tissues. Gentle pressure is applied until it is felt that the tension has been released.
